SOS Village Pilot (Impact Hub SF)

Much gratitude to the Impact Hub SF (1885 Mission Street) for being the first property owner in San Francisco to partner with SFHC for a Safe Organized Spaces (SOS) Transitional Village pilot.

This pilot program was initiated on July 28th, 2017 and hosts one former encampment resident who was exited from the Navigation Center in 2015 without housing.

SFHC developed a license agreement for the property owner and resident-in-transition with legal support from Mission Housing Development Corporation, site-specific community agreements and responsibilities, partnerships with Downtown Streets Team and Liberation Institute for transition and mental health support, and a community-integration team with weekly meetings to provide program oversight and build community.
